JB Retro Collect Australia Apple II style whole.jpg

Thank you for visiting my blog, JB Retro Collect

I personally am based in Canberra, Australia and house a large collection of personal computers and software.  Contributions to the collection are rare but I do usually welcome offers and make time to collect, even interstate.  I can be contacted easily – all the usual channels such as e-mail and Twitter.

The aim of this blog is to publicly release software, magazines and books that I have personally imaged and or scanned.  Files are shared using Google Drive which has two features. 1) Ability to browse surrounding content and folders, 2) Direct download – no torrents, FTP login etc.

PayPal offer a service where I can easily take donations from readers like yourself.  Hobby time is always free but equipment and sourcing content for the blog is not, so to show your support for preserving new titles online, please consider donating.  Follow this link https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=SEP3P27VK58SN

  1. Greetings I am Philip.kocent@bigpond.com I have a large collection of Amiga and Commodore magazines . From your website it appears you are interested in scanning computer magazines so I wonder if you are interested in scanning my collection . There are to many to count .

    1. Thanks for the suggestion. Previously the snippet mode just meant people had to click on things which reduced discoverability. If you scroll through everything then you get your ‘scroll fix’ and might spot something you were interested in. I am wondering I can have both – eg a URL for one view and another for snippet
